Our base for this unique bar is a true salt bar. It starts with loads of coconut oil balanced by 50% sea salt to oil weight. While salt normally would be a lather-killer, our generously super-fatted formula ensures a wonderfully, creamy lather that will leave your skin soft, smooth and silky. These luxurious bars are often referred to as "spa bars" for their incredible skin benefits. Suitable for all skin types, but highly recommended for acne types and dry skin.
Our salt bars are made with mineral-rich Mediterranean sea salt, harvested from the Mediterranean Sea and solar dried.
What good is salt in soap??
- Sea salt is a natural purifying agent that draws out impurities and acts as an astringent.
- Salt is a gentle exfoliator, removing dead skin cells and leaving skin more youthful and glowing.
- Salt contains trace minerals that offer a bevy of skin-protective actions.
Usage: You may wish to use a washcloth or soap your hands to cleanse your face as the salt crystals may scratch your sensitive facial skin, but the rich full creamy lather makes it very easy to rub on and you still get the exfoliating properties. We personally enjoy the light scrubbiness, but everyone's skin is unique!

Life's A Beach Artisan Botanical Soap
Handmade soaps need to breathe! We recommend storing your soap on a slatted or free draining soap dish so that it can air dry in between uses.
- Remove botanical toppings prior to use.
- Don't allow your soap to sit in a puddle of water.
- Use a wash cloth, loofah or soap saver bag to extend the life of your soap bar.
- Use your soap bar within one year of purchase. I know they're pretty to look at, but they're intended to be used so enjoy them! :)
- Store unused soap out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperature fluctuations and high humidity conditions.
- You may experience colored lather with dark or brightly colored bars; however, no permanent staining should occur.
- Discontinue use if irritation occurs
- Soaps are for external use only & are not edible
