According to Homer in his epic poems written around the 8th century BCE, Elysium or the Elysian Fields refers to a beautiful meadow in the Underworld where the favored of Zeus enjoy perfect happiness. This was the ultimate paradise a hero could achieve: basically an ancient Greek Heaven. In the time of the Greek poet Hesiod, Elysium would also be known as the "Fortunate Isles", or the "Isles of the Blessed", where those fortunate enough would dwell with the heroes of myth for all eternity.

Meadowfoam seed oil - an herbaceous wildflower native to the waterways of the Pacific NW, the oil derived from this common "weed" boasts an extremely high concentration of unique long-chain fatty acids that make it a powerful emollient, capable of locking in moisture. Its velvety texture and ability to balance sebum make it a highly esteemed skincare plant ally.
Olive Squalane - because our bodies produce this substance naturally, and because its molecular structure is so similar to the skin's own, squalane oil penetrates deep into the pores to deliver superior skin hydration.
