In Greek mythology, Artemis emerges as a formidable and revered figure, embodying the untamed spirit of the wilderness. Known as the Huntress, she strides through ancient tales with her silver bow in hand and a quiver of arrows on her back, symbolizing the balance between strength and grace. Artemis is considered a guardian of the environment, and those who respect wildlife are believed to be under her protection.
 
The forests, in Artemis's realm, were not just landscapes but sacred havens where the delicate balance of nature thrived under her guardianship. Stories depict her as a relentless and skilled archer, fearlessly navigating the dense forests in pursuit of prey. Despite being a skilled hunter, Artemis only hunted for sustenance and preached the importance of balance in the natural world. As the protector of wildlife, she cherished the creatures of the wilderness and maintained a sacred connection with the untamed landscapes.
 
As the Goddess of the Moon, Artemis's association with the moon is an integral part of her divine essence. Often depicted with a crescent moon adorning her forehead, she embodies the moon's phases – waxing, full, and waning. This celestial dance symbolizes her ever-changing influence over the natural world and the tides of life.
 
We leaned deep into the Moon Goddess' energy when developing the design for this iconic bar. Silver arrows are her signature weapon so we have topped each bar with a silver bow and arrow charm for you to cherish as a keepsake and for your ritual use. A palette apropos for both her and the fall season in cool silver balanced by bold layers of vibrant teal and orange, with silver mica lines separating each layer and a sprinkling of shimmery silver mica on top. 
 
Our Artemis bar evokes rich forest vibes with an invigorating heart of fir and juniper grounded by warm cedarwood, all uplifted by bright top notes of crisp ripe apple and sweet mandarin. Invigorating and atmospheric. 
 
Makers note: Sadly, we accidentally picked up the wrong fragrance bottle when making this batch and didn't notice until it was too late. So this scent, while quite lovely!, does NOT match our Artemis perfume oil roller, as was our intention. While this mistake won't impact your enjoyment of the soap, it might create some confusion when comparing to the perfume.

Handcrafted soap will continue to evaporate water and lose weight over time. This makes for a finer, harder, and longer lasting bar.
